Bring your own podcast gear or add support for lighting and production workflow.

Podcast pricing

Tell us the setup before we price the session.

Podcast bookings are priced by the requested setup, not only by the room time. In the booking form, leave a note with the number of guests, whether you need audio-only or video podcast support, preferred recording length, camera count, lighting needs, and any DIT or workflow support. You can also email the studio directly at hello@match-studios.com.

Include in your booking note

  • number of guests
  • audio-only or video podcast
  • recording length
  • number of cameras if video is needed
  • lighting or backdrop needs
  • workflow, DIT, or file handoff support

Podcast use

Built for podcast sessions that need a cleaner studio environment.

Match Studios is a flexible production room for podcasters in NYC rather than a one-size-fits-all podcast network, so you can shape the recording setup around your show.

Podcast episode recording
Founder and guest interviews
Video podcast sessions
Branded media and thought leadership content

Production workflow

Keep the setup simple or add production support.

Podcast teams can bring their own equipment and crew, or add support around lighting and digital workflow when the recording needs to look more polished on camera.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do podcast studio bookings get priced?

Podcast setups are confirmed by request because the scope depends on guest count, recording format, audio/video needs, lighting, technical support, and file handoff. Add those details in the booking notes or email hello@match-studios.com before booking.

Can I record a podcast or video podcast at Match Studios?

Yes. Match Studios can support podcast recordings, video podcasts, interviews, founder conversations, branded media, and conversation-based content with optional lighting and production workflow support.

Do I need to bring my own podcast equipment?

You may bring your own audio, camera, and podcast gear. The studio is a flexible production space, not a one-size-fits-all podcast network package, so the setup can be shaped around your show, crew, and recording needs.

Can I add lighting, A/V, DIT, or workflow support?

Yes. Lighting support, A/V items, DIT-style workflow support, and digikit rental may be added when the podcast will be filmed, reviewed live, or used as branded content.

Is the studio soundproof?

The studio can support many podcast and interview setups, but it is not marketed as a fully soundproof soundstage. If clean audio is critical, tell us before booking so we can discuss timing, microphone strategy, possible noise windows, and whether the room is the right fit.

Does my booking include setup and breakdown time?

Yes. Your booked time includes load-in, podcast setup, camera or audio setup, recording time, resets, breakdown, cleanup, and load-out. Choose a block long enough for setup and guest arrival, not only the recording itself.

What is the cancellation, rescheduling, and overtime policy?

Podcast bookings follow the standard production policy. Bookings may be cancelled for a full refund within 24 hours after booking confirmation if the start time is more than 48 hours away. After that grace period, bookings cancelled 7 or more days before the start time are eligible for a full refund minus non-refundable processing fees and committed custom or vendor costs. Cancellations made between 72 hours and 7 days before the start time are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the start time are non-refundable. Overtime and rescheduling are subject to availability and written approval.

How far in advance should I book a podcast session?

Because podcast setups are scoped by request, allow a few business days for the details to be confirmed before your preferred date. Recurring shows usually lock a standing slot after the first session; one-off recordings with simple needs can often be arranged within the same week, subject to calendar availability.
